Diasec®-Matt Laserchrome Print 63 cm x 45 cm

Every appearance is surrounded by space.

Space is the empty vessel from which objects can emerge

before we recognize and define it as an appearance.

“Below Heaven” shows the act of emerging from empty space in three phases.

This means the external emergence as well as the internal.

Before the form emerges from the space,

just as there is spiritual movement that has not yet been thought of.

When a hint of physicality arises in the swirling movement of the room,

just as the intuition stirs in the amorphous flow of the mind.

When the object manifests and rises from the surf,

just as the clear thought is released from preconsciousness.
